Laughter Formula

I’ve lost 3 friends in the last 2 months.  It sucks! They were friends of 40-50+ years.  Some I spoke to regularly, some, not in years.  It doesn’t really matter, they were in my life at different points, as a real friend…  is a friend for life.  

One common thread with each of these men, we laughed together every time we were together. About what? I have no idea, actually it’s not important. What is paramount, is we laughed. Those priceless memories will always be with you. 

Lessons I’ve learned from life:  Laugh every day as often as possible.  More importantly, make someone else smile everyday.  It’s a winning formula!  Life is short, make it a happy one.

Bugs……..

Living in the South and in the woods means from time to time you will get bugs and spiders. No matter how clean you keep your house, no matter what pest prevention company you use….you periodically will get one that will get past the barrier.  

But there is a way to get satisfaction from the varmint!  When you reach for that fly swatter, Kleenex, can of Raid, or step on the creepy bug, do this…… as you swat, smother, spray or squish, just say these words as they will give you great satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment and pleasure.

I give each bug a name, the same name for each bug, and say, “I got you you POS!”.  The name? I call each one “Trumper”.  The satisfaction of doing away with a trumper is exhilarating and you won’t go to jail!  And there will be one less bug/trumper to deal with!
